Storage
Fitted wardrobes and shelving
Storage built to the room you actually have — alcoves, awkward walls and sloped ceilings included.
Fitted wardrobes
A fitted wardrobe is made to the space, not dropped in at a standard width. Awkward walls and sloped ceilings are part of the job, not a reason to turn it down. I’m Charlie, and I do the work myself — you won’t get a fitter you’ve never spoken to.
On the work page there’s a fitted wardrobe interior with hanging rails, shelving and banks of drawers. That’s the kind of storage I mean. If you’ve bought a flat-pack wardrobe instead and just need it assembled, that’s a different job — see flat-pack assembly.
Alcoves, corners and open shelves
Alcove shelving and other fitted joinery use the gap that’s already there: a chimney breast, a cupboard corner, a run of wall that isn’t doing anything. The gallery shows white fitted shelving built into the corner of a storage cupboard, and a solid timber shelf on brass brackets against a painted wall.
Tell me roughly how deep and how high you want it, and what it’s for — books, shoes, the usual pile that has nowhere to go. A photo of the alcove is more useful than a perfect measurement at the enquiry stage.
What this isn’t
This isn’t a kitchen-fitting service, and it isn’t a catalogue of bedroom ranges. If the same room needs a door hung, or skirting and architrave finished, that can sit alongside the storage — doors and second-fix joinery is the detail. For anything smaller than a full wardrobe, there’s still no minimum job size. I’m based in Crieff; the places I travel to are on the areas page.
Quotes are free and there’s no call-out charge.
